Your responsibilities
This position involves about 50% team leadership and 50% operational warehouse work.
As the team lead, your key duties will include overseeing the warehouse operations, ensuring the quality of incoming and outgoing shipments, optimizing inventory and spare parts management, improving workflows, and developing efficient processes while addressing any challenges. In practice, this may involve developing innovative storage solutions within current facilities or introducing new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
In this role, you will have personnel responsibility for your team, including conducting employee reviews, managing salary discussions, overseeing budget planning, and allocating resources for daily operations. Supporting and coaching your team will be key to your success. Additionally, you’ll have access to a strong network of experienced managers and team leaders at Brokk, providing support whenever needed.
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma and several years of experience in warehouse management. Leadership experience, whether as a team lead or in a similar role, is highly appreciated, and familiarity with quality management is an advantage. A valid B driver’s license is required. Ideally, you also have a forklift certification and a loader operator’s license.
As an individual, you are a natural leader with strong communication skills. You demonstrate humility and have a talent for spotting areas where improvements can be made. You value teamwork and maintain a professional and driven approach to your work.
